I just read that the internet service in Major is very very expensive and available only in very few areas. I hope that is the reason why there is no update so far. I hope you both make it to Guam soon where we can hear from you.

Sorry you couldn't land at Hilo. So happy and excited to hear from you from Maui,I could have rented a small plane, but you know me in those high winds.I hope you waited untill they laid down to head for Majuro.I,m sure everyons heart is in their throat untill you get over land. Be safe guys.

J'étais hier à Avenches devant la stéle à la mémoire d'Ernest Failloubaz et j'ai ressenti un grand moment d'osmose entre vous et ce gamin d'Avenches qui a osé comme vous avec la même passion il y a 1 siécle ! Je n'ai plus d'adjectifs pour définir votre formidable épopée... Continuez à porter haut l'esprit premier des aviateurs.

Hi guys,
it is with a lot of emotion that I follow your progress along your fantastic trip. Especially the day you flew to Maui. The emotion turned into questionmarks and worries - why did this bl.... red line not progress in the middle of the ocean for hours??? Was the tracking system out, the internet at fault, or ...???
Finally after a dozen of unsuccesful attempts Fabien was able to contact you Yannick on the "sat-phone" and we knew that everything was OK. Ufff...! Well done and congrats!!!

See Logbook page for the latest news."
Seems that the North Pacific is not covered by this service.
Hope this puts your (and my) mind at ease! :-)

Greetings from NZ. Thanks to fantastic aviation tracking technology, it would appear that both aircraft departed PHOG/Maui at 1534UTC 23MAY enroute PKMJ/Majuro. Unfortunately I do not have a valid ETA for PKMJ nor a planned elapsed time. Tentative position at 2035UTC is approximately 80nm SSW of Johnston Atoll.

Hello les Dream Flyers,
Alors comme disait quelqu'un: Jusqu'ici ça va... Félicitations pour les 17h30 de vol non stop (mine de rien, faut le faire!!!). Quand je vous disais que l'Océan était Pacifique, et surtout avec les deux petits Princes du ciel que vous êtes. Toutefois continuer à prendre soins de vous et de vos montures ailées. Je vous embrasse très fort et je passe le clavier à Karin. Il me semble que jusqu'à maintenant c'était easypipo... Tu étais parti pour une aventure, mais pour l'instant c'est quoi l'aventure, trouver des eaux moins bleues, des paysages moins jolis, des hôtels moins luxueux.... !!! C'est une ballade du 3ème âge ! pas de jeunes intrépides..... A+ Karin.
P.S. Je pense mon Pepito que tu manques vraiment à Karin... Allez je vous recontacte après le Pacifique.
